Flat ring-shaped Force Sensor XCM-135
Particularly suitable for limited space conditions
With its robust steel housing, the XCM-135 ring Force Sensor can be used in a variety of applications.
The Compression Force Sensor can be used for static and dynamic applications in the force range 0 – 50 kg. The force is applied via the support ring. The inner diameter is 6.5 mm. The flat ring Force Sensor can be attached for measuring different compressive forces. The force acting centrically from above is measured.
The solid steel housing and the sealed design according to IP66 guarantee problem-free operation of the strain gauge Force Sensor, even under difficult environmental conditions.
Properties:
Electrical connection
The Force Sensors from X-Sensors are based on a strain gauge full bridge with strain gauges. The output signal for this Sensor is specified in mV/V. Various input modules of controllers already allow the direct connection of Force Sensors with strain gauge full bridge.
In addition, measuring Amplifiers with voltage output (0-10 V) and current output (4-20 mA) are available, which amplify the strain gauge full bridges accordingly. The measuring Amplifiers are available in a robust field housing, for DIN rail mounting or in an inline housing.
Mechanical connection / construction
The advantages of the compression Force Sensors are the easy handling. The force acting centrically from above is measured.
The ring Force Transducers are characterised by a very flat and compact design. This allows the use of the compressive force transducers under particularly low space conditions.
The mounting of the strain gauge Force Transducers is uncomplicated, either via the thread, the inner diameter or via the prefabricated holes, depending on the model.
