The S-shaped Tension and Compression Force Transducer is particularly suitable for highly stable force measurements of static loads with a high output signal. Especially for weighing applications in the force range from 10 kg to 5 tons, this S-shaped Force Sensor is characterised by excellent linearity and stability.
The force is applied via the two internal threads of the S-Type-Force Sensor. The Load Cell can be usedas a tension Force Sensor and as a compression Force Sensor.
The Force Sensor can beprofessionally installed via the two internal threads . The solid steel housing and the type-Sdesign according to IP65 guarantee problem-free operation, even under difficult environmental conditions.

Installation and deployment
Electrical connection
The Force Sensors from X-Sensors are based on a strain gauge full bridge with strain gauges. The output signal for this Sensor is specified in mV/V. Various input modules of controllers already allow the direct connection of Force Sensors with strain gauge full bridge.
In addition, measuring Amplifiers with voltage output (0-10 V) and current output (4-20 mA) are available, which amplify the strain gauge full bridges accordingly. The measuring Amplifiers are available in a robust field housing, for DIN rail mounting or in an inline housing.
Mechanical connection / design
The advantages of the S-shaped Load Cells are the compact design and easy handling. Both the compressive force and the tensile force can be measured.
The Tension and Compression Force Sensor is versatile and isused in container weighing, dosing technology, tension force measurement in wire or thread winders, test and analysis systems in industry, load monitoring inindustrial plants and filling monitoring.
The Load Cell is easily mounted using thetwo internal threads.
